This 8-hour live course plus hybrid online content is open to all current Lewis students as well as faculty and preceptors, past and present. It is designed to give you the skills you need to be successful in the transition to your first role, a new role, or just as a refresher with fun hands-on continuing education with world-class simulation equipment! Includes 8-16 hours of online content through our Online CE Portal for lifetime access to supplemental content and lectures! This course is normally $499, but due to the partnership between SOP and Lewis, we have discounted it to $357 for your convenience!

    Digital and Field Blocks

    Subungual Hematoma Trephination

    Paronychia Release

    Nail Removal with Ring Block

    The Non-dilated Eye Exam

    Ultrasound Guided IV and Arterial Line Insertion

    Ultrasound Guided Central Venous Line Insertion

    Ultrasound Guided Thoracentesis

    This course is accredited through American Academy of Family Physicians. All RN and NP student participants are able to use AAFP prescribed credit for their license renewals.

    Regarding Acute care students:

    The AAFP has reviewed Acute Care Skills Workshop, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 06/01/2024 to 05/31/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Regarding FNP students:

    The AAFP has reviewed Family Practice Skills Workshop and deemed it acceptable for up to 20.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 06/01/2024 to 05/31/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
