Walden University Online Health Assessment Immersion

Skills On Point has partnered with Walden University for the Walden University Advanced Health Assessment Immersion to help you master the head to toe examination and suturing basics! If you choose, you can also add a skills session of commonly performed skills used during routine care specially designed for your learning track (Primary or Psych only).

REQUIRED: This course enrollment is a required part of your Walden NURS 6512 – Advanced Health Assessment and Diagnostic Reasoning course. The $200 online course purchase covers the course registration, suturing supplies, lifetime access to training videos, certificate of training, and the health assessment supply kit.

Once enrolled, you will receive the supplies within a week via USPS or UPS with tracking*.

*These high-quality supplies are yours to keep and will be used during the end of your semester when you perform your recorded head to toe exam and submit it to your Walden University faculty.

OPTIONAL SKILLS BREAKOUT: You have the option of selecting a breakout session at an additional cost if you so choose. This is NOT REQUIRED, but it is very valuable content and has been considerably discounted (about 50%) to make it an excellent investment as more employers are asking for evidence of this content for credentialing and privileging. These breakouts are available to online students for FNP/AGPCNP/PNP (Primary) and Psych tracks only.  (Acute care skills are only available live due to the equipment and manikins used, but can be accessed at a discount with the coupon code “WALDEN” at the following course link HERE)

Psych Track Optional Breakout

• Common Psychopharmacology and Differential Dx/Case Studies
• Includes lifetime online access for all training materials, a training certificate, and AAFP accredited CE for all content!

Primary Track Optional Breakout

• Office procedures (biopsies, abscess, digital blocks, trephination, paronychia, nail emergencies, fluorescein stain, etc) including a full 140 video online course with all materials and lifetime access, includes a training certificate and 8.0 AAFP accredited CE.
• Those who participate online will receive additional supplies sent to them upon this enrollment.
